Mental Health Evaluations
Scope and Types of Evaluations
Scope of Services
My evaluation services are designed specifically for adults (ages 18 and older) who are seeking greater clarity about their mental health.
I primarily work with adults who are:
Experiencing challenges with attention, focus, or organization and want to explore the possibility of ADHD
Managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, or mood changes
Navigating complex or overlapping concerns that make diagnosis unclear
Seeking diagnostic clarification to better guide therapy, medication, or other treatment planning
Each evaluation is individualized and comprehensive, and may include several components:
Clinical interviews to understand your history, symptoms, and experiences
Standardized psychological testing using validated measures with established psychometric properties
Collateral contact (with your consent) to gather observations from family members, providers, or others who know you well
Records review to integrate prior evaluations, medical or educational history, and treatment notes
Not every evaluation includes all of these elements — the process is tailored to your specific referral questions and needs.
My goal is to ensure each evaluation meets your needs and serves its intended purpose. If you’re unsure which type of evaluation is right for you, please contact our office for guidance before beginning the process.
If you are seeking an evaluation for a child or adolescent, I recommend reaching out to a child psychologist or pediatric neuropsychologist, as they specialize in developmentally appropriate assessments for younger populations.

This was created for those that suspect they have ADHD, but aren't sure enough to commit to a comprehensive evaluation.
Instead of doing the extensive ADHD evaluation, Jenna can provide additional insight on your symptoms to help you discern if you would like to move forward with a comprehensive evaluation.
The process includes a brief clinical interview, multiple assessments, and feedback. The total time is approximately 60 minutes.
Jenna's recommendation will be solely based on her interpretation of the results of the tests. It does not include a definitive diagnosis or a summary report.
-
Designed to provide a thorough and detailed assessment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in adults.
This comprehensive evaluation includes several components, including clinical interviews, personality and behavioral assessments, and collateral information.
The evaluation is approximately 3-to-4 hours followed by a 30-45 minute feedback session.
This thorough evaluation process enables Jenna to accurately diagnose ADHD and differentiate it from other conditions that may present with similar symptoms.
Results and findings will be provided in the form of a full report or a summary point, dependent upon your need and preference.

Comprehensive mental health evaluations for adults who are seeking diagnostic clarification or a deeper understanding of their mental and emotional health. These evaluations are particularly helpful when there are complex or overlapping symptoms or when you’ve tried therapy or medication but still lack a clear understanding of what’s driving your challenges.
These evaluations are designed to answer questions such as:
What’s contributing to my current symptoms or struggles?
Could my difficulties be better explained by anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or another condition?
What treatment or support would be most helpful for me moving forward?
-
My evaluations are comprehensive and clinically sound, but it’s important to understand their intended purpose and scope before scheduling.
Evaluator Credentials: I am a master’s-level licensed clinical mental health provider. My evaluations include clinical interviews, standardized psychological testing, and a detailed written report. However, some outside organizations (such as universities, licensing boards, or medical offices) may require that an evaluation be completed by a doctoral-level psychologist or psychiatrist.
If you are seeking an evaluation for academic accommodations, workplace accommodations, or another external review process, please confirm in advance that a master’s-level provider’s evaluation will be accepted.
Purpose of Evaluation: The evaluations described on this page are intended for diagnostic clarification and treatment planning—helping you and your treatment team better understand your mental health needs and next steps.
These evaluations are not completed for:
Disability determinations (such as Social Security Disability evaluations)
Medical or surgical clearances (e.g., bariatric, pain management, or gender-affirming surgery)
Autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, or specific learning disorder assessments
Forensic Evaluations: If you are seeking an evaluation for a legal or court-related purpose, such as competency, please visit my Forensic Evaluations page for more information about those specialized services.
